Pakistan: Virat Kohli's fan released

Lahore, Feb 27 (IBNS): Indian Test skipper Virat Kohli's fan, who was arrested in Pakistan for hoisting the Indian tricolour atop his home, was released on bail on Saturday.

Kohli’s fan Umer Daraz has been arrested for more than a month.

He was arrested on  Jan 25 .

Advocates Rizwan and Muhammad Yousaf had applied for  Daraz's bail with the court of Additional District and Sessions Judge Asadullah Siraj.

"On Friday, after examining police and judicial case files and hearing arguments of both sides, the court admitted Daraz’s bail plea and ordered him to furnish a surety bond worth Rs50,000,"dailypakistan.com.pk reported.

Daraz was arrested over treason charges.
