Panatinaikos stadium in Athens to be illuminated green and yellow after Rio 2016 Committee receive Olympic flame

Athens, Apr 27 (IBNS): Having crossed Greece in six days, the Olympic Torch Relay has arrived in Athens.
On Thursday, the official ceremony for the passing of the flame to the Rio 2016 Committee iss scheduled to be held. The date also marks 100 days to the Games. 
 
The Panathinaiko Stadium, home of the 1896 and 2004 Games, will be the setting for the celebration.
 
After the ceremony concludes, and during the night of Wednesday, the stadium will be exceptionally lit in green and yellow, the colors of the Brazilian flag, to mark the beginning of the Olympic season under the responsibility of Brazil.
