Rashid Khan touches fastest 100 wickets mark

Harare, Mar 25 (IBNS): Afghanistan spinner Rashid Khan created history during the final match of the ICC World Cup Qualifiers in Harare against West Indies when he picked up the wicket of  Shai Hope.

By picking up the wicket, he became the fastest bowler to pick up 100 wickets in ODI.

He reached the milestone by playing 44 matches.

He also surpassed Australian pacer Mitchell Starc's record of 52 matches.

He is also the youngest bowler to reach the landmark at 19.

He is now topping the chart which also has names of bowlers like Starc,  Saqlain Mushtaq (53 ODIs), Shane Bond (54 ODIs) and Brett Lee (55 ODIs).

He will be seen playing the upcoming Indian Premier League for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
