India captain Rohit Sharma has been fined thrice on the Mumbai-Pune Expressway for driving his car at an overspeed while he was on his way to Pune to join the national team for the India-Bangladesh Cricket World Cup 2023 match, a report by Pune Mirror said.

Rohit reportedly was driving his Lamborghini at 200 km/hr.

At a time, he even peaked his car's speed to 215 km/hr, report said.

The skipper, who started off with a duck in India's first match against Australia, bounced back with a century against Afghanistan and then a half century against Pakistan.

India have so far won all three matches they have played.

Apart from being the captain of the side, Rohit, who opens the batting with Shubman Gill, is one of the crux of the team.
