Saurabh Chaudhary wins gold in 10m Air Pistol at ISSF World Cup in Munich,

Munich, May 27 (IBNS): Saurabh Chaudhary (17) from India bagged a gold in the 10 metre Air Pistol category at the ISSF World Cup in Munich, media reports said.

He broke his own record of 245 by shooting 246.3 points in the final. In February, Saurabh had won a gold at the World Cup in New Delhi.

This comes a day after India's star shooter Apurvi Chandela clinched gold in the finals of the women's 10 metre air rifle event in Munich. Another Indian shooter, Elavenil Valarivan, finished fourth with a score of 208.3.

Chandela, continuing with her winning momentum has fetched second World Cup gold this year after New Delhi.

Chandela shot a score of 251 in the final taking home the yellow metal and raced past Wang Luyao who scored 250.8 and Xu Hong 229.4, both from China, settled for silver and bronze respectively.
