SRH beat Gujarat Lions by 9 wickets

Hyderabad, Apr 9 (IBNS): Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Gujarat Lions by nine wickets and 27 balls to spare in an IPL match here on Sunday.

David Warner (76*) and Moises Henriques (52*) added 108 runs partnership in the second wickets partnership to ensure a win for the side.

Shikhar Dhawan was dismissed for nine runs.

Chasing Gujarat's 135 runs for the loss of seven wickets, Hyderabad reached 140 runs by losing a wicket.

For Hyderabad, Afghanistan's Rashid Khan bowled brilliantly and picked up three wickets by giving away 19 runs.

Losing wickets at regular intervals, Gujarat batsmen faced troubles at regular intervals.

Dwayne Smith (37) was the top scorer for the side.
