SRK arrives in Kolkata to support his KKR

Kolkata, Apr 8 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan on Wednesday reached the city to cheer for his side Kolkata Knight Riders as they face Mumbai Indians in the opening match of the Indian Premier League (IPL) at the Eden Gardens here.

Khan could not attend the opening ceremony of the event on Tuesday night.

The KKR co-owner tweeted: "Taking so many kids for the KKR match….it’s like I am a class teacher Incharge of Nursery to Higher Secondary."

"In my city now….Kolkata. I love it here & hope all of u are the there at the Eden…wish us luck," read his second tweet.

KKR has won the toss and opted to field in the match.
