SRK can now enter Wankhede Stadium, MCA lifts ban on him

Mumbai, Aug 2 (IBNS): Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, who is also the owner of Indian Premier League (IPL) team Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will now be able to enter the Wankhede Stadium after the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) lifted the five-year ban on him on Sunday.
The MCA had slapped a five-year ban on SRK from entering MCA premises, including Wankhede Stadium, following a brawl with the MCA officials after his team defeated Mumbai Indians in an IPL match in 2012.

SRK had initially refused to apologize for the incident and after it occurred told media that he became aggressive only when they 'manhandled' the children under his responsibility at the stadium and misbehaved with him.

The actor later apologized to his fans for the incident and said: "I have subjected you to a sight of me which is not me. Please forgive me."
