Mumbai/IBNS: Twitterati have come out thanking Indian cricket captain Virat Kohli, who played his last T20 match in blue jersey as the skipper of the side against Namibia in the T20 World Cup on Monday.

Kohli, who has been leading Team India for several years, had announced that he would quit as Indian captain after the T20 World Cup.

The Namibia match turned out to be Kohli's last as captain as India crashed out of the World Cup even before the semi finals having a disastrous run in the tournament.

Under his leadership, India won 32 of 50 T20 matches and lost 16.
