Tokyo/UNI: The Indian men's archery team bowed out of the Olympics after losing to defending champions Korea in the quarter-finals of the men's team event at the Tokyo Olympics on Monday.

The Indian team comprising of Atanu Das, Tarundeep Rai and Pravin Jadhav was overwhelmed by the South Koreans 6-0 at the Yumenoshima Park Archery Field.

The Koreans have been the most successful nation in archery at the Summer Games, and have already clinched gold in the women’s and mixed team events and are the favourites to win the men’s categories.

Despite today's loss, India are still in the fray in the women’s and men’s individual events.

Earlier in the day, the Indian men defeated Kazakhstan 6-2 in close round of 16 match in which all the four sets were decided by a single point to set up the clash with Korea in the next round.
