Union Sports Minister Vijay Goel to visit Punjab

New Delhi, Nov 1 (IBNS): Minister of State (I/C) for Youth Affairs and Sports Vijay Goel will pay a day long visit to Punjab on Wednesday.

During his visit, Goel will attend a number of functions at Patiala and Rajpura.

At Netaji Subhas National Institute of Sports Patiala, Goel will unveil the Bust of Late Major Jyotin Singh, Ashok Chakra and pay a visit to Sports Science Centre.

He will also inaugurate Special Certificate Course in Sports Coaching for J&K Sports persons (under Prime Minister’s Special Package for J&K) followed by media interaction.

The Minister will also flag off Symbolic Race as part of Rashtriya Ekta Diwas and Rashtriya Ekta Saptah on the occasion of Birth Anniversary of Late Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel.

Later in the evening, he will address a public meeting at Rajpura.
