Turkey visa available from 16 cities in India

New Delhi, Apr 2 (IBNS) Turkey Visa Application Centres across 16 cities in India, launched by the Embassy of the Republic of Turkey have become operational from Friday.
Th visa office will be operated by VFS Global.
 
The offices are located in New Delhi, Mumbai, Gurgaon, Jalandhar, Chandigarh, Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Pune, Bengaluru, Goa, Puducherry, Kochi, Trivandrum, Chennai, and Hyderabad.
 
Speaking at the launch, Dr. Burak Akçapar, Ambassador of the Republic of Turkey to India, Nepal and Maldives, said, Currently,the embassy is receiving about 100 visa applications a day. He believes that the new visa centres will ease the process of application and threre will be an increase in the number visa applicants,
 
Turkey is also launching two more centres, one each in Nepal (effective April 1, 2016) and Maldives.
