31 killed in Bangladesh road mishap

Natore, Oct 20 (IBNS): At least 31 people have died as two buses collided at Boraigram upazila in Bangaldesh's Natore district on Monday.

"The death toll from the accident has risen to 31 and 19 of the bodies have already been handed over to their families,” Deputy Commissioner of Natore Mashiur Rahman told The Daily Star.

A Dhaka-bound bus of Keya Paribahan from Rajshahi and a Gurudashpur-bound bus of Othoi Paribahan from Natore collided   on the Rejur Intersection on the Dhaka-Rajshahi Highway at around 3:30 pm local time.

A three-member body has been formed to probe the mishap.
