Afghanistan: At least one killed in Kabul explosion
Kabul, Aug 20 (IBNS): An explosion took place in Kabul on Saturday morning, killing a person and injuring another, following the detonation of an improvised explosive device (IED), reports said.
The incident took place in Qala-e-Zaman Khan area of the city, Khaama Press reported.
The agency quoted officials as saying that the explosion took place due to a magnetic bomb fitted in one of the army vehicle.
The deceased and the wounded are both believed to be army personnel.
The Taliban has shouldered responsibility for carrying out the assault.
