Afghanistan: Crime kingpin killed during clash with police

Kabul, June 15 (IBNS): During a clash with  the Afghan National Police (ANP) forces in Kabul, a crime kingpin has been killed, media reports said on Saturday.

The Ministry of Interior (MoI) in a statement said the police forces killed Nabi Kohbandi, a crime kingpin during a clash in Kabul city, reported Khaama Press.

The statement further added that the clash took place in the vicinity of the 9th police district of Kabul city earlier this afternoon, as per the news agency report.

According to media reports,  Nabi Kohbandi was considered as a leader of a criminal gang.
