Afghanistan: Fire at Jawzjan Oil Station leaves one dead

A fire broke out at a fuel station in Afghanistan's  Sheberghan city on Friday which left at least one person dead.

The fire incident left two others injured.

Abdul Sattar Halimi, a Taliban spokesperson in the province, told Khaama Press that at least one person was killed and two others were wounded in the incident.

The injured person was rushed to hospital for treatment.

The tragedy happened last night at around 3 o’clock in the Alam Yar Bayat fuel station near Andkhoi port, located in the city centre of Shabarghan province, Halimi told the news agency.

The fire has been brought under control.
