Afghanistan: Kabul classroom suicide bombing kills at least 48

Kabul, Aug 16 (IBNS): At least 48 people have died in a suicide bombing in western Kabul region of Afghanistan, reports said.

The incident took place on Wednesday in Dasht-e-Barchi area of Kabul province.

The incident took place after a bomb was detonated inside the classroom at an education academy. It has left at least 67 others injured.

Confirming the news, the public heath ministry said that the incident took place at around 4:10 pm.

The deceased are said to be teenagers.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far. The Taliban has denied its role in it.
