Afghanistan: Suicide attack near ACB kills 3

Kabul, Sept 13 (IBNS): In a suicide attack close to the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) headquarters, at least three people were killed in Kabul city of Afghanistan on Wednesday, media reports said.

The attack left five people injured.

A suicide bomber reportedly blew himself up when he attempted to  enter the Afghanistan Cricket Board (ACB) headquarters.

Basir Mujahid, spokesman for 101 Police Asmayee Zone, told Pajhwok Afghan News that a suicide bomber on foot attempted to attack the ACB.

But when police stopped him at the gate, the attacker detonated explosives strapped to his body, he told the Afghanistan based news agency.

No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
