Kabul: The Taliban government on Monday said they have seized up to 3,000 liters of liquor stored in barrels in Kart-e-Chahar of the Afghan capital of Kabul, media reports said.

The spy agency of the IEA, General Directorate of Intelligence (GDI), released a video clip showing the alcohol is being poured into the Kabul canal, reports Khaama Press.

Three people have been arrested by the Taliban in connection with the case.

The Taliban government has banned the possession and consumption of alcohol and has been searching for stores where the intoxicants are being sold.
