Ottawa, Mar 30 (IBNS): Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has wished all Christians around the world on the occasion of Good Friday.

Trudeau tweeted, "On Good Friday, I send my best wishes to Christians around the world gathering to reflect and pray on the blessings we share. Wishing you a peaceful and meaningful day."

Trudeau is often seen wishing people on special occasions.

He was seen to celebrate Diwali in Canada last year.

Good Friday is celebrated as a holiday to commemorate Jesus Christ's crucifixion and death at Calvary.
