China: Restaurant blast kills 17

Beijing, Oct 10 (IBNS) An explosion inside a restaurant in China's Anhui Province on Saturday killed at least 17 people, media reports said.

The blast occurred at 11:57 a.m. and caused a fire at a private restaurant in Jinghu District of Wuhu City, the city government was quoted as saying by Xinhua.

Initial investigation into the matter has revealed that the blast was killed by a gas cylinder.
