Chinese President Xi Jinping meets Pakistan PM Imran Khan

Beijing/UNI/Xinhua: Chinese President Xi Jinping and Pakistan's Prime Minister Imran Khan on Sunday met in Beijing on the sidelines of the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Both sides discussed the ways to enhance people-to-people contact.

China is willing to work with Pakistan to accelerate the building of a closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era, bring benefits to the people of the two countries, provide impetus for regional cooperation and contribute to world peace, Xinhua News Agency quoted President Xi as saying.

China is currently hosting the Winter Olympics in Beijing.
