Drug lord recaptured by Mexican authorities
Los Mochis, Jan 9 (IBNS): In a major victory for Mexican authorities, drug lord Joaquin "El Chapo" Guzman has been recaptured from Los Mochis on Friday.
He has been sent to Altiplano prison.
He had escaped the prison in July, media reports said.
"Guzman was arrested on Friday in the city of Los Mochis in his home state of Sinaloa - which he had come to dominate through the drugs cartel he led," BBC reported
