Fire breaks out in Dhaka commercial building, three injured

Dhaka, July 20 (IBNS): At least three people were hurt as a fire broke out at a 10-storey commercial building in Bangladesh capital city Dhaka on Saturday, media reports said.

The fire was reported from the building located in Kanthalbagan area in the city.

10 fire fighting units reached the spot to bring the flames under control.

One of the injured was sent to Dhaka Medical College and Hospital while two others took primary treatment, said Lima Khanam, duty officer at the control room of Fire Service and Civil Defence in Dhaka, reported Dhaka Tribune.

The fire occurred at the third and fourth floors of F Haque Tower around 5:55am on Saturday, reported the newspaper.

The cause of the fire is still not known.
