A forest fire left hundreds of trees and precious shrubs damaged in Pakistan's  Balochistan region on Sunday.

The fire could not be controlled in the area due to difficult terrain, officials told Ary News.

The forest fire erupted in the mountainous region on Saturday and soon spread in the region.

Balochistan’s chief minister directed the Provincial Disaster Management Authority to douse the flames and initiate relief operation in the area.

“The Bambi bucket will be installed in the helicopter to contain the fire,” PDMA was quoted as saying by Ary News.
