Former ISIS sex slaves residing in Canada get threat calls, messages

Ottawa, Feb 6 (IBNS): Former ISIS sex slaves, who have been sheltered by Canada, are getting calls and messages threatening of rape and murder, media reports said.

Five women and a teen age girl filed a complaint with York Regional Police.

All the victims are Yazidis who had survived a genocide, which was led by ISIS, in Iraq in 2014.

The girls have handed over the recording of the phone calls and screenshots of the texts to police.

Const. Andy Pattenden has been quoted by CTV News, "Our investigators are going to work through phone records, information obtained by victims and any background as to why this may be occurring."

In one of the calls, a man reportedly said: "I am the man who f****d you. I am your rapist."

York Regional Police have made a team to track from where the calls are originating.
