Four civilians injured as blast hits Afghan eastern Jalalabad city

Jalalabad, Afghanistan, Jul 8 (Xinhua/UNI) Four civilians were injured on Monday as a blast rocked Jalalabad city, the capital of Afghanistan's eastern Nangarhar province, provincial government spokesman Attaullah Khogiani said.

The blast targeted a vehicle in Jalalabad city at around 11:00 a.m. local time, wounding four civilians.

Without providing more details, the official said that investigation had been initiated into the incident, adding the details would be shared with media after completion of the investigation.

A bomb blast in Afghanistan's eastern Ghazni province on Sunday had claimed six lives and injured more than 180 others.
