The incident, which began at around 7 pm local time, triggered massive panic among the faculty and the staff present in the campus.

"The attack began at around 7:00pm when a suicide bomber ploughed his explosives-laden car into the university’s wall, paving the way for other gunmen to enter inside,"Pajhwok Afghan News reported.
