New York, Jan 12 (IBNS): Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has found himself in the mid of a debate since he posted a picture of himself taking his child to doctor to get immunization shots.
Posting a picture of himself with his daughter Max, Mark wrote on Facebook: "Doctor's visit -- time for vaccines!"

Since then, the picture has been liked, commented by large number of netizens.

It has also been shared by 32,682 Facebook users.

Meanwhile, the image has also triggered a social media debate over childhood vaccines.

One netizen Sheila Schiffman wrote under the picture, "I do not believe this at all. Just plain old publicity for vaccines. Who is he kidding. Not me for sure. Who is paying him to do this? I'll bet that baby will get no vaccines, who is with me."

Another Carlos Muñoz said: "It's kinda sad that we now live in a world in which we congratulate people for vaccinating their kids. Look at how far we have regressed due to science illiteracy."

A netizen Vanya Kumar posted: "A subtly political statement indeed, that's great! who would've thought we'd come to an age where we'd need one on the subject of vaccines."

Some came out in appreciating Mark for giving time to his daughter.

"Thanks for being responsible!," Facebook user Jenny Raulli wrote.

One Emily Ellis  said: "Thank you for being a smart person and doing what's best for your child and the community. #saveallthebabies."

Another Caryn Marooney said: "Shots are never fun, but so important. Thank you for sharing this - it's important. (and agree the onesie is super cute!)"

Facebook uder Maria Chiara Bus Diaz posted: "Mark cares about his baby and knows vaccinations are for the good of his baby and they are very important. Mark decides to vaccine his baby. Mark is intelligent.  Be like Mark."
