Nnewi , Dec 25 (IBNS): A blast at a gas plant in south-eastern Nigeria has left several people dead, media reports said on Friday.

The blast reportedly occurred when a truck exploded as it was off-loading butane cooking gas in Nnewi town.

Several people are reported to be trapped inside the  plant.
