Pak Army chief warns India

Islamabad, Feb 26 (IBNS) Pakistan army chief General Raheel Sharif on Thursday warned back India, will be given a "befitting response” for any provocation along the Line of Control and Working Boundary.

He made the remarks while visiting the Sialkot Garrison and forward locations on the Working boundary.

“Let there be no doubt that any provocation along the Line of Control and Working Boundary will meet a befitting response," Sharif was quoted as saying in a statement issued by the country's Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR).

"COAS also visited  towns and villages affected due to Indian unprovoked firing along the working boundary. While expressing solidarity with the affected villagers, COAS paid rich tributes to their resilience and spirits. He also said that the entire nation stand united alongwith its armed forces while defending the motherland," read the statement.
