Pakistan: Boy set on fire over mobile theft allegation in Lahore

Lahore, Dec 2 (IBNS): A teenager was set on fire in Pakistan's Lahore city on Friday, media reports said.

The incident occurred in Nawab Town area in the city.

He was reportedly set ablaze  for allegedly stealing a cellphone, media reports said.

The teenager was taken to Jinnah Hospital where doctors treated him for burns on one side of his face and arms, police told DawnNews. Shortly after, he was released from the hospital.

The man, who is suspected to have set the boy on fire, has been taken into custody.
