Islamabad: Director General (DG) of the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) Lt Gen Faiz Hameed on Friday arrived in Beijing to hold strategic talks with Chinese officials, media reports said.

Sources told Geo News that the DG ISI will hold important talks with the Chinese officials.

Foreign Minister Shah Mahmood Qureshi recently visited China.

The visit of high-ranking Pakistani officials holds significance after a tragic incident in Upper Kohistan. Nine Chinese nationals working on the Dasu Hydro Power Project were killed when a bus transporting them to the construction site met with an accident, Geo News.
