Pakistan: ISIS claims responsibility for killing nine policemen during recent attack in Balochistan

Quetta: Terror group Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the recent attack in Pakistan's  Balochistan region which left nine policemen dead, media reports said.

At least nine personnel of the Balochistan Constabulary died and 13 others were hurt when a suicide bomber, who was riding an explosives-laden motorbike, hit a police truck on the Sukkur-Quetta Highway in the Bolan district.

The personnel were returning to Quetta city after performing their duties at the  ‘Sibi Mela’.

"ISIS claims suicide attack in Sibi, Balochistan," tweeted Rita Katz, director of the SITE Intel Group that tracks Islamist extremists, reports The Express Tribune.
