Pakistan PM Nawaz Sharif's return to Islamabad delayed

Lahore, July 18 (IBNS): Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif's return to Pakistan's Islamabad city has been delayed due to fever and infection, media reports said on Monday.

The Pakistani PM is currently is Lahore.

The PM "was due to travel to Islamabad tomorrow (Tuesday) morning but due to an infection in one of his leg incisions, he is suffering from fever," PM House spokesman was quoted as saying by Dawn News.

After undergoing open-heart surgery at a London hospital on May 31, Sharif returned to Pakistan recently.
