Pakistan test fires drone 'Burraq'

Islamabad, Mar 13 (IBNS): Pakistan on Friday test-fired indigenous developed armed drone Burraq and laser guided missile Barq, officials said.

Pakistan's Chief of the Army Staff (COAS) General Raheel Sharif  witnessed the test fire.

Director General (DG) Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR) Major General Asim Bajwa tweeted: "Pak successfully test fires own indigenous developed armed #Drone Burraq &Barq laser guided missile.#COAS attends."

"#COAS witnessed test fire on static&moving tgt.Impressive Pin point accuracy,all weather.Multiplies capability against terrorists," he said.

"#COAS congrats nation,scientist,tech,involved in dev own drone.Lets join hands to take Pak frwd in respective field," he said
