Pakistan: Three die in Swabi car attack

Swabi: At least three people were killed when gunmen attacked their car in  Razaar area of Pakistan on Thursday, media reports said.

The police told Dawn News that Waqar Ahmad, his father Mohammad Sadiqand another person, Wahid Zaman, were targeted on the way to the Swabi Judicial Complex in Shahmansoor area.

They said Waqar and Sadiq were to attend the court hearing into a murder case, while Zaman hitchhiked, the newspaper reported.

The police said Sadiq died on the spot, while Waqar and Zaman succumbed to critical injuries at the tehsil headquarters hospital.

They said they had booked three brothers, including Daud Khan, Akmal Khan and Asfandyar Khan, for murders before starting investigation.

No arrest has been made so far.
