Suicide attack in Pakistan's PML-N MNA's office kills 7

Islamabad, Oct 14 (IBNS): At least seven people were killed as a suicide bomber blew up his explosives at the office of Pakistan Muslim League - Nawaz (PML-N) lawmaker Amjad Farooq Khosa in Pakistan's Dera Ghazi Khan district on Wednesday, media reports said.

Khosa was not present in the office when the attack took place.

Ghulam Mubashir Maken, the District Police Officer (DPO) in DG Khan was quoted as saying by Geo News: "A suicide bomber detonated his explosives at the political office of MNA Amjad Farooq Khosa in Tonsa Sharif."

He said the attacker had grenades in his hands.

Speaking to Geo News from Islamabad, Khosa confirmed that he has been in the federal capital since the past two days.
