Taliban attack repulsed in Dehdadi: Reports

Mazar-e-Sharif: Afghanistan security forces pushed back Taliban terrorists from  Kod Barq area of Dehdadi district in Afghanistan, media reports said.

Adel Shah Adel, the spokesman for the Balkh police chief, told BNA that the Taliban attack were pushed back during an operation by the defense and security forces launched with the support of the air force in Kod Barq area of Dehdadi district of Balkh.

He added that the Taliban had fled the area with casualties and that the security forces, especially the commandos, had an active and widespread presence in the area.

Afghanistan is witnessing a massive surge in violence in recent times ever since the foreign forces started leaving the country.

The Taliban terrorists have captured several key regions in the country.
