Toronto, Sept 26 (IBNS): On Sunday afternoon, a 15 -month -old ate part of an anti-anxiety medication pill that was found on a slide in a Toronto park.

Police are investigating the cause and circumstances that led to the incident.

Const. Jenniferjit Sidhu explains, the toddler found the pill around 12:15 pm Sunday in Bellevue Square Park in the Kensington Market neighbourhood.

According to police, the child is fine, as the parent was successful in stopping the child from swallowing the pill completely.

However, Sidhu says, there were more pills spread throughout the park.

Police however, do not have any suspect presently but are asking parents to be vigilant at outdoor areas and report to police of any dangerous items they spot around.
