Calgary, Sep 22 (IBNS): One woman was killed and another man was seriously injured when a Hainan Airlines tour bus rolled uncontrollably off the Castle Mountain lookout point along the TransCanada Highway near Alberta's famous Banff National Park.

At the time of the incident, the bus was empty as the tourists were at the scenic spot.

The 53-year old woman and the 55-year old man were just in front of the bus clicking pictures of the scenery.

The empty bus suddenly started to roll on its own dragging the woman and the man down a steep embankment and fell near the Bow river shore.

The woman died on the spot while the man was airlifted by STARS Air Ambulance to Foothills Medical Center in Calgary. Both were from Ontario, Canada.

The Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) is investigating the case.
