Unknown attackers stabbed to death a Rohingya man at Ukhia’s Jamtoli camp in Bangladesh's Cox’s Bazar region on Saturday, media reports said.

The deceased person was identified as 38-year-old Badsha Mia.

Ukhia police station Officer-in-Charge Shamim Hossain told UNB some 4-5 miscreants called Badsha Mia out his house, beat him and then fled after stabbing him.

Locals rescued him and took to MSF Hospital where doctors declared him dead.

The motive behind the attack is still not known.
