Mississippi: At least six people died when a man opened fire on his ex-wife and potentially other family members in the Tate County region of the US on Friday.

The suspect, Richard Dale Crum, 52, was arrested after the alleged rampage and is facing charges of first-degree murder in connection with the case, the sheriff’s office said as quoted by CNN.

The department said additional charges are expected to be filed against him.

Tate County Sheriff Brad Lance told CNN the suspected gunman went into the store then took off, driving to his ex-wife’s home.

Lance said the suspect shot and killed his ex-wife before striking her fiancé, who was also in the residence.
