Vietnam: Karaoke bar fire kills 13

Hanoi, Nov 2 (IBNS): At least 13 people were killed as a fire broke out at a karaoke lounge in Vietnam, media reports said on Wednesday.

The incident occurred in Cau Giay district of Hanoi on Tuesday.

Two police officers were reportedly injured in the incident.

13 people have been killed in the fire at a karaoke bar in downtown Hanoi, Major General Doan Viet Manh of the Vietnam Fire and Rescue Police Department told VnExpress late Tuesday.

Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc has directed the police to investigate into the cause of the fire.
