Will beat Oprah if she contests Presidential election: Donald Trump

| @indiablooms | Jan 10, 2018, at 05:23 pm

Washington, Jan 10 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump has said he will beat talk show host Oprah Winfrey in the next Presidential election if at all the latter contests, media reports said.

Oprah has set a speculation about her possible joining in politics with her powerful speech in the Golden Globes Awards ceremony.

Interacting with media, Trump said: " I'll beat Oprah. Oprah would be a lot of fun."

" I don't think she's going to run. I know her very well," he added.

Oprah, who became the first African American woman to receive the Cecil B. DeMille Award for lifetime achievement, said discrimination on the basis of race and gender was unacceptable.

She based her acceptance speech on the #MeToo campaign.  "...When that new day finally dawns, it will be because of a lot of magnificent women, many of whom are right here in this room tonight, and some pretty phenomenal men."

However, media also immediately reported how she had been palling around with the likes of Harvey Weinstein for her professional requirements over two decades.  Oprah in many photos was seen kissing and hugging the "sexual predator" of Hollywood.

Trump defeated former US Secretary of State, Hillary Clinton, in the Presidential election 2016.
