KL Rahul, Athiya welcome baby girl

Indian cricketer KL Rahul and his wife Athiya Shetty announced on Monday that they had been blessed with a baby girl.

The cricketer announced by posting on Instagram.

According to reports, he skipped Monday's IPL match between Delhi Capitals and Lucknow Super Giants, to be with his family on the special day of their life.

The duo had announced the pregnancy in November 2024.

Delhi Capitals won KL Rahul in the auction by paying a massive sum of Rs. 14 crore.

He missed his debut match for the IPL squad.

KL Rahul joined the IPL campaign after being part of the Indian Champions Trophy winning squad in Dubai.

He played a major role in the national squad's victory in the ICC title and made a return to the cricket calendar after a gap of eight years.
