Sachin bats for the end of acid sale in India

Mumbai, Apr 30 (IBNS/Just Earth News) Indian sporting icon and former Indian cricketer Sachin Tendulkar on Saturday urged sellers to end acid sale in the country while advocating for acid attack victims.

Floating a tweet with hashtags 'end acid sale' and 'make love not scar', The maestro said, "#endacidsale before it causes more pain and agony. #makeluvnotscar."

He also posted a picture along with a message which read, "Finding the right shade of lipstick is harder than finding concentrated acid."

Acid attacks have claimed many lives while forcing others to go on a permanent hiding for the stigma attached to it.
