New York, Oct 26 (Just Earth News): As Iraqi Government forces close in on Mosul, the United Nations human rights wing said on Tuesday that it continues to receive reports of grave violations against civilians, including extrajudicial killings and summary executions, by Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant (ISIL/Da’esh) extremists.

New York, Sep 2 (IBNS): Following the first executions in Chad since 2003, the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR) on Tuesday deeply regretted the resumption of the death penalty in that country and called for an official moratorium on its use.
