Afghanistan: Back to back explosions kill at least eight in Jalalabad

Kabul, May 19 (IBNS): At least eight people have died in a series of explosions which rocked Afghanistan's Nangarhar province, reports said.

The explosions took place at a cricket stadium in Jalalabad city of the province.

A cricket match was reportedly going on while the incident unfolded.

According to provincial governor spokesman Attaullah Khogyani, at least 45 people suffered injuries.

No group, including the Taliban, has claimed responsibility for the attack.
