Afghanistan: Roadside mine blast kills 1 cop, 4 hurt
Kabul, Sept 24 (IBNS): A roadside mine blast in Afghanistan's northern Balkh province killed at least a policeman on Sunday, media reports said on Monday.
The blast left four others injured.
The blast took place in Shortepa district of the province after a police vehicle hit a roadside mine, the district governor, Mohammad Karim told Tolo News.
“The condition of the wounded people is good, and they were taken to the hospital quickly,” he told the Afghanistan-based news agency.
No group has claimed responsibility for the attack so far.
